Celebrating Ashland’s culinary scene, February is the time to taste local. Travel Ashland invites you to take part in Ashland Culinary Month that included Restaurant Week from Feb. 5–12. All month long there are restaurant specials to enjoy, cooking classes to take, food and wine pairings to taste and culinary events to attend.

For the past few years, Restaurant Week has grown to include amazing restaurant specials and an enter to win a night out. This year, Culinary Month encompasses Southern Oregon Wine Country, one of the top-10 best wine travel destinations in the world, according to Wine Enthusiast. As a local you can enjoy what many visitors travel to take part in.

The purpose of Ashland Culinary Month and Restaurant Week is to showcase Ashland’s award-winning culinary scene, including Southern Oregon Wine Country, the restaurants, the food artisans and talented chefs and amenities one can enjoy in February.

Travel Ashland creates this promotion to engage the food and beverage industry and share the offerings to both locals and visitors. This promotion of Ashland Culinary Month invites visitors to experience Ashland in February, which is different than in the summer months. You can talk with chefs, meet winemakers and enjoy a quieter experience while perhaps skiing Mt. Ashland or enjoying the spa. The goal is to invite visitors here each month of year for different reasons, including inviting them during the times when it is slower, such as February.

Not only can you learn about all the delicious restaurant specials, you can check out the happy hours in Ashland, Valentine’s day specials, live music, culinary events, wine tasting room hours, theater happenings and getaway packages. To learn more, go to www.travelashland.com.
