A free class offering tips on how to avoid "Frauds, Scams and Cons" starts at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 7, at the Ashland Senior Center at 1699 Homes Ave. The class is scheduled to wrap up by 2 p.m.

Ashland Police Department Crime Prevention Specialist Ron Kohl will give the presentation to help attendees learn how to identify and not become a victim of a fraud, scam or con.
