Frostbite Run: The annual event, featuring 5K and 10K races, takes place at Talent Middle School, 102 Christian Ave., Talent. The 10K starts at 11 a.m. and the 5K goes off at 11:30 a.m. The 5K goes out and back on Foss Road. The 10K takes the same route as the 5K but heads left onto Adams Road to Colver Road, with a turnaround past Pioneer Road. For details, see the race calendar at

Low-cost Pet Vaccines: Bring your cat or dog to the Jackson County Animal Shelter, 5595 S. Pacific Highway. Phoenix, Saturday, Dec. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to get them vaccinated. Art Exhibit: Art Presence Art Center will present its annual "Naked Art, " a show of artwork without frames or mats through February 25 at the art center, 206 N. Fifth St., Jacksonville. Chamber Choirs: Willamette University Chamber Choir, a 41-voice ensemble, and Willamette Singers, a 17-member jazz-vocal ensemble, will sing at 7:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 1801 E. Jackson St., Medford. Ensembles from South Medford High School and Rogue Valley Youth Ensemble also will be featured. The program includes “O Lux Beata Trinitas,” “Hentakan Jiwa” and “Evening Prayer” by the Chamber Choir and “One Day I’ll Fly Away” and “Muddy Water” by the Willamette Singers. The performance will include several sacred and secular works, both a cappella and accompanied. Admission is free. A goodwill donation is encouraged.
