A treatment center promising help with expediting healing from a variety of injuries hosts an open house Thursday, Dec. 14, in Ashland.

The Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatment Center of Southern Oregon is, according to a public announcement, a new medical venture between local physician Dawn Lemanne, M.D., MPH, director of Oregon Integrative Oncology; local physician B. Monte Stewart, M.D., director of Bear Creek Surgery Center; and San Francisco Bay Area physician and industry leader Scott Sherr, M.D.

The venture offers medical-grade private, non-hospital hyperbaric oxygen therapy, or "HBOT," for people suffering from diabetic wounds, delayed radiation injuries, traumatic brain injuries, post-concussion syndrome, Lyme disease, cancer synergy, multiple sclerosis and several other conditions.

The center is holding an open house for the public from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14. The center is at 1801 Highway 99 North in Ashland. Information is available at www.OregonHBOT.com or by calling 541-488-7012.
