Ashland's Boy Scout Troop 112's 59th annual Christmas tree sale is set for 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2,  and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, in the Elks Lodge parking lot at Lithia Way and First Street in downtown Ashland. Sale of these trees helps support troop activities throughout the year.

This year they will have noble fir trees from a tree farm. Scouts will be on hand to help select the best tree, carry it to your car and tie it on top, if needed. Prices range from $10 to $50 for the trees.

Troop 112 marks its 59th year of this tree sale that began in 1958. Boy Scout Troop 112 was first chartered in 1915 and is the oldest Boy Scout Troop in the state of Oregon. Troop 112 and the Ashland Lion's Club Christmas Tree Recycling is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 6, and it is recommended that trees are curbside the night of Friday, Jan. 5.
