Potholes on Ashland Street will be filled Tuesday through Thursday this week, Ashland Public Works Department has announced.

One lane of the four-lane road will be closed from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day while the Ashland Street Division does patch work on Ashland Street between the railroad overpass and Siskiyou Boulevard. This work is being done to repair bad areas of the roadway subject to chronic potholing.

There will be lots of equipment and workers in the area, as well as intermittent road closures on some side streets off Ashland Street.

There will be no left turns allowed from some businesses onto Ashland Street for brief periods while the work is being performed. The Street Division asks motorists to keep an eye out for workers in the roadway and avoid the area if possible while the work is being completed.
