Preschool Puppet Theatre: See what Brenda Bear and friends are up to at 10:30 a.m. the second Friday of every month at North Mountain Park Nature Center, 620 N. Mountain Ave., Ashland. Folk Music Festival: Jackson County Fuel Committee's seventh annual Folk Music Festival will feature a lineup including Earl the Bard, Frankie Hernandez, Leaves of Grass, Gene Burnett and Jive Mountain from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at Grizzly Peak Winery, 1600 E.
