Every fall, the Ashland Chamber of Commerce holds its annual dinner, an opportunity to celebrate the previous year’s accomplishments and set the course for an exciting year ahead. The new Board of Directors is installed, the outgoing president exchanges the gavel with the incoming president, and the Ashland Chamber has the opportunity to recognize and thank individuals and businesses for their accomplishments in the community.

We would love to hear from the Ashland community who you think should be honored at this year’s celebration on Oct. 5. Last year, Paddington Station was recognized for its leadership in business environmental practices, Reinholdt & O’Harra was honored for its business longevity and Darex was celebrated for its countless achievements, just to name a few.

Individuals are also recognized for their commitment to the Ashland Chamber and the greater community. Peter Buckley was honored as Citizen of the Year for his numerous years in our state legislature and tireless efforts on behalf of our community. The Ashland Chamber honored both Ashland Rotary Clubs for their volunteerism and impact on our community over time.

If you would like to nominate a business or business owner for their innovation and/or commitment to the community, please provide the business name, owners name and why you think they deserve recognition. If you have an individual who you feel should be recognized for their efforts in our community, please provide information about who the person is and why you feel they deserve recognition.

All nominations can be emailed to Kelsey Frantz at the Ashland Chamber (kelsey@ashlandchamber.com) or mailed to P.O. Box 1360 by Friday, Sept. 8.

Thank you for your consideration!
