Ashland City Band: The community band, directed by Don Bieghler, plays at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 27, in the Butler Bandshell in Ashland's Lithia Park. “Rikudim,” a collection of Israeli folk dances, will be played in memory of Yair Strauss who recently passed away. Also look for trombone soloist Mike DeRoest playing Alexandre Guilmant’s "Morceau Symphonique." The program will also include members of the Ashland Middle School Summer Band Camp.
