The Ashland Public Library's summer blowout book sale is set for noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 22, and noon to 2 p.m., Sunday, July 23 in the library's Gresham Room.

Thousands of new and near mint condition books will be available for $1 to $2, including collections of history, spirituality, art, hyper-modern firsts, cook books and more that have not been sorted or selected, improving chances to serendipitously stumble upon a great bargain.

Members of Friends of the Ashland Public Library can come early for a preview from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 22.

All sales benefit literacy programs sponsored by the Friends of the Ashland Public Library. Organizers request no scanners be used.

The library is at 410 Siskiyou Blvd. in Ashland. For more information, contact Maureen Flanagan Battistella at 541-552-0743 or the library at 541-774-6980.
