The Bad Film Society: "The Deathless Devil," a remake of the 1940 "The Mysterious Doctor Satan," will be shown at 6 p.m. Sunday, July 9, in the basement of the Ashland Elks Lodge. The 1972 film, made in Turkey, includes everything you'd want in a bad film: It's wacky, unrestrained and is full of mystifying logic. Rare and weird short films will be shown before the feature. Bring any bad DVDs, tapes or books you'd like to give away and a dish for the potluck dinner. Enter the lodge through the entrance on Will Dodge Way — the alley between East Main Street and Lithia Way and First and Second streets. Look for the "Elks Dining."
