Yala, an Ashland-based clothing company known for creating casual basics for women, has announced it will relocate its headquarters to Eugene. The business will operate out of the new location starting Aug. 1 and hopes to retain more than 50 percent of its current employees.
“Oregon is our home,” said Kathrin Platt Gonsalves, president of Yala, in a press release. “We have been honored to have the support of the Ashland and Rogue Valley community behind us and hope for continued support as we look towards the future.”
Yala was founded in 1996 in Ashland. Its new facility will be at 4030 W. First St., Eugene.
