Breakfast: The Rogue Valley New Day Network breakfast will begin at 8 a.m. Friday, April 21, at the Rogue Valley Unitarian Fellowship, 87 Fourth St., Ashland. The breakfast will focus on the role of media in an era when they have been called "an enemy of the people" and "the opposition party." Jeff Golden will be the guest speaker. The RV New Day Network promotes peace, justice and sustainability in the Rogue Valley. All are welcome and asked to bring utensils, plate, napkin, cup and food to share.

Earth Day: The Rogue Valley Earth Day celebration is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 22, outdoors at the ScienceWorks Hands-On Museum grounds, 1500 E. Main St., Ashland. Outdoor admission is free. Museum entry is $2 on Earth Day. Activities include science and technology demonstrations, eco-friendly crafts, games, storytelling, local food and beverage vendors, dancers and musicians.
