Nick Offerman & Megan Mullally

Comedy super couple Nick Offerman ("Parks and Rec") and Megan Mullally ("Will and Grace," "Parks and Rec") will present their witty variety show, "Summer of 69: No Apostrophe," which they call an ode to their love affair, at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, in the Britt Pavilion, 350 S. First St., Jacksonville. The Bylines will perform at 6 p.m. in the Performance Garden. Halie Loren Trio

The Eugene vocalist and her band kick off the Siskiyou Music Project's Fall Concert Series with a show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Old Siskiyou Barn in Ashland. Halie Loren headlined for the Britt Orchestra's Pops Concert this summer, and she's performed with New West Guitar Trio. Her newest — and eighth — album, "Butterfly Blue," was released last year. Tom Gibson

Singer, songwriter and guitarist Tom Gibson and his Redding, Calif., based band will perform acoustic and electric folk and rock at 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Johnny B's Rockin' Diner, 120 E. Sixth St., Medford. Gibson has a solo EP, "Nine Pound Hammer," to his credit, along with a full-length album, "The Way She Change," recorded with a full band and released last month on the CD Baby label. "The Way She Change" expands on Gibson's early work as he experiments with new sounds and blends musical styles. IDLEFOX  and Acoustic Exile also will perform. Admission is TBA.


Portland-based Teddy Presberg and his revolving lineup of soul singers will perform an experimental mash of soul, funk and rock 'n' roll at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, at Applegate Lodge, 15100 Highway 238, Applegate. Named after the nearly bloodless war of 1859 in the San Juan Islands — triggered by the shooting of a pig — Presberg's live shows are filled with original music that pulls from Teddy Pendergrass, Led Zeppelin, The Faces, Lee Scratch Perry, Dilla and Parliament Funkadelic. The shows are rooted in improvisation, inspired by the moment and the audience. Tickets are $10 online at or $15 at the door. 

'Chickflick: The Musical'

Friendship is the best medicine. Join Karen, Dawn, Sheila and Meg as they get together on a Friday night to watch a chick flick and play their favorite drinking game. Hopes, dreams and disappointments are revealed as the women help each other make real life better than the movies.
