'She Loves Me'
Director Valerie Rachelle nicely teases out the old world elegance of pre-war Budapest, and keeps her focus on romance and society, in Oregon Cabaret Theatre's production of "She Loves Me." With music by Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick and a book by Joe Masteroff, this warm romantic comedy set in an upscale perfumery tells the story of co-workers Georg and Amalia, who are always at odds yet carrying on a romance as pen pals, unaware of each other's identity. The show runs through Dec. 31 at the dinner theater, situated on the corner of First and Hargadine streets in Ashland. Evening performances are at 8 p.m.; matinees at 1 p.m. Reservations are required for pre-show dinners or brunch. Tickets are $25 to $39 and do not include food.
