'Seven Dreams of Falling'
It's late in the post-modern day and Icarus has grown weary of falling out of the sky over and over. It's time for a career change, and as he plots his escape from doomed repetition in playwright C. Scott Wilkerson's comedy, his family and friends also find themselves struggling with the idea of letting go. John Butler Trio
The Australian roots and jam band led by singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist John Butler will perform at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 12, at the Britt Pavilion, 350 S. First St., Jacksonville. The newest, "Flesh and Blood," was released on Vanguard Records in 2014. Nattali Rize opens the show with progressive electronic, roots and reggae. Wonder performs at 6 p.m. in the Performance Garden.
