Misner and Smith
San Francisco-based folk and Americana duo Misner & Smith will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, June 23, at La Baguette Music Cafe, 340 A St., Ashland. The duo's newest, "Seven Hour Storm," was released in 2013. Admission is $10.

Sparks House Concert
Central Oregon-based singer, songwriter and guitarist John Batdorf will perform music from his newest album, "Next Stop, Willoughby," at 7 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at Sparks House. Ashland Blues Summer Festival
Portland singer Rae Gordon and her Backseat Drivers, along with the Hank Shreve Band, will headline the Ashland Blues Festival on Sunday, June 25, at Grizzly Peak Winery, 1600 E. Nevada St., Ashland. The Matthew Kreimelman Trio with Jade Chavis Watt and blues duo David Pinsky and Phil Newton will open the show at 1 p.m. Tickets are $30 in advance and can be purchased at ashlandblues.org or Paddington Station and Music Coop in Ashland, Hilltop Music in Phoenix, or Grocery Outlet in Medford. Tickets will be $35 at the gate. Kids 11 and younger get in free. Gates open at noon.
Michal Palzewicz and Ayke Agus
The cello and piano duo will perform at 7:30 p.m.Wednesday, June 28, at Grizzly Peak Winery, 1600 E. Nevada St., Ashland. Look for music by Saint-Saens, Franck, Schumann, Tchaikovsky and Vaentini. Palzewicz is principal cellist for Rogue Valley Symphony Orchestra since 2011. He plays viola da gamba and violin in the orchestra for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival's "Shakespeare in Love," running through Oct. 29. His original compositions are released monthly at music.palzewicz.com. Agus studied violin under Jascha Heifetz at University of Southern California.
