Leftover Salmon with World's Finest

Colorado band Leftover Salmon — mandolin player Drew Emmitt, guitarist Vince Herman, bassist Greg Garrison, drummer Alwyn Robinson, keyboard player Erik Deustch and banjo player Andy Thorn — will perform Americana steeped in rock 'n' roll, bluegrass, funk, zydeco and more on Thursday, Feb. 16, at the Historic Ashland Armory, 208 Oak St.  Portland band World's Finest will open the show. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 the day of the show, and can be purchased at liveatthearmory.com. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The show is open to ages 21 and older.


Deja Vu Theatre Productions will present "Quartet," playwright Ron Harwood's wickedly funny and joyous play about the eccentricities of age and the celebratory power of the human spirit, at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Feb. 17-18, at Central Medford High School, 815 S. Oakdale Ave., Medford. Robbi McMinimy direct, and the cast includes Brandy Carson, Buzz London, Jack Seybold and Dianna Warner. It tells the story of four retired opera singers whose lives converge in a retirement home for musicians. Tickets are $16 and can be purchased online at showtix4u.com and at the door.

Chris Williams and Ed Dunsavage

Singer Chris Williams and jazz guitarist Ed Dunsavage will present "Mostly Mercer," a tribute to lyricist Johnny Mercer, at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 18, at Paschal Winery, 1122 Suncrest Road, Talent. Tickets are $10 or $25 and can be purchased online at siskiyoumusicproject.com. The show is the first of seven to be presented in Siskiyou Music Project's 2017 Winter Spring Concert Series. The trio — Caitlin Belem on sax, guitar and berimbau, Terrence Rosnagle on guitar and Sam Esecson on percussion — will perform Brazilian bossa novas, boleros, Cuban son, Brazilian samba and funk at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 22, at Grizzly Peak Winery, 1600 E. Beatles tribute band Rain will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford. Rain has played Broadway and toured for years.
