The band — singer, songwriter and guitarist Eric Leadbetter, bassist Mark Young and drummer Kaleb Kelleher — will play original songs, along with a mix of classic rock, funk and jam covers at 9 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at Howiee's on Front, 16 N. Front St., Medford. The band formed in Boulder, Colorado, but now makes its home in Bend. There is no cover for the show. Jive Coulis will play at 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Brickroom, 35 N. Main St., Ashland. Cover for Saturday's show is $5.
Winter Wine Event
Del Rio Vineyards will host its 13th annual Winter Wine Event from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, in the big red barn at the vineyard estate, 52 N. River Road, Gold Hill. Sample everything from tamales and sandwiches to truffles and honey, all from Rogue Valley producers, while tasting Del Rio wines. East Main Band will perform '60s and '70s rock covers. Admission will be $20 at the door and will include a commemorative wine glass, a wine flight and food samples.
Band du Pays Swing
The band — singer Kacie Garner, stand-up bassist Merrill Smith, sax and clarinet player Stephen Gagne, guitarist Tony Brussat and drummer Bryan Jeffs — will perform a mix of swing music for dancing from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, at Paschal Winery, 1122 Suncrest Road, Talent. 'Fame: The Musical'
Inspired by a 1980 Academy Award-winning film and its ensuing Emmy-winning television series, "Fame: The Musical" captures the successes and failures, elation and fear experienced by a group of aspiring students at the New York High School of Performing Arts. Look for a high-energy, emotional ride through the world of music, dance and theater. The show is set for 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 16, at the Craterian Theater, 23 S. Central Ave., Medford.
