Southern Oregon University will hold an active shooter training class on Wednesdays, 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the Rogue River Room. The class, originally scheduled to begin Wednesday, Oct. 7, was cancelled along with the every other class after a threatening note was found on campus. It will be led by SOU Director of Campus Public Safety Fredrick Creek.

No enrollment is necessary to attend the class, which is open to any students, staff and faculty that show up.

The class was originally scheduled to run for four consecutive Wednesdays but additional classes may be added.
