  • The Daily Tidings is rolling out a new website, designed to help readers easily find the community news that's important to them.
Starting this evening, DailyTidings.com will have a new look and some new features, along with the complete news package readers rely on.
News, sports, business and lifestyle stories, opinion pieces, entertainment coverage from Revels, photo galleries and video will all be found right on the homepage. Posts from community bloggers will be listed alongside articles.
The dynamic new site will update as news happens. Reporters and editors will add stories, photographs and videos throughout the day, so check back often for the latest news.
A quick click on topics listed in navigation bars will enable deeper exploration of those areas of interest.
Access for subscribers and registered users to our online content remains the same. User names and passwords won't change. Key icons let online readers know which stories are premium content.
Anyone can subscribe to a free email newsletter compiling each day's headlines. That link is at the top of the page, along with information about subscriptions and the Limelight Deals program.
Our fans on Facebook and Twitter will get free access to links shared on those social networks.
For readers who like to talk about the news online, reader reaction forums remain at the bottom of each article. Join the conversation by logging in with Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or Google+.
Mobile and tablet versions of the site are still available, too. Our software can detect phones and most tablets and will send users to the appropriate site. Those who prefer the desktop version can choose it from any device and that preference will be saved for two weeks at a time.
