Fog cut off the Rogue Valley from the rest of the aviation world Monday night, leading to nine commercial flight cancellations this morning.

"We're (fog) seeding right now," said Airport Director Bern Case. "I'm hoping to hear a plane taxi in within the next half hour (by 9 o'clock)."

Following Monday's schedule mayhem with few flights coming or going on time, Case expected much of the same today.

"It looks a lot like yesterday, so far," Case said. "We're hoping the flights can start dribbling in, so they can turnaround and go back."

He said travelers were quietly waiting at the terminal.

Although Monday afternoon flights were able to arrive, evening fog once again forced cancellations and diversions.
