Marjorie Elizabeth Beach passed away peacefully in Salem, Ore., July 14, 2012, at the age of 98.
Born to Emily and Edward Keller, in San Antonio, Texas, May 17, 1914, Marjorie grew up in Montrose, Colo. Upon her marriage to Waldo Beach, the two moved to Long Beach, Calif., and eventually to Oregon. Living in Medford, Ore., they reared three children who survive: Dale Beach (Sharon) of Salem, Ore.; Beverly Brady, of Ft. Mill, S.C.; and Gary Beach (Tanya), of Healdsburg, Calif. Marjorie is also survived by three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Waldo.
Marjorie was a quiet woman with a strong moral compass, living her life by the teachings of the Bible. She was widowed with children still in school but saw each of them graduate from college. Marjorie was a gentle soul who loved to read, work in her garden, bird watch, and play bridge with her long time group of friends. She lived most of her life in Medford, Ore., spending her last years in Salem, Ore.
The family is gathering for a memorial service at Siskiyou Cemetary in Medford, Ore., August 29, 2012.
