Barbara Taylor passed away August 15, 2012. She was born June 14, 1930, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Cleo Taylor Sr. and Alma Cooper.

Barbara was a homemaker and caretaker. She went to school in Jacksonville, Ore. One of her highest accomplishments was being in several movie screen tests in Jacksonville, as well as being the Jubilee Queen on multiple occasions. She also spent 17 years in Alaska helping raise her grandson, Coy.

In her free time she loved painting flowers, sewing, walking, laughing, and sitting in the sun reading. She loved the outdoors.

Survivors include her children, Allen Puckett and Susie Puckett-Butcher; six grandchildren, Todd, Shawna, Cindi, Apryl, Coy, and Jerry; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Lenora, Mildred, and Juanita; and brother, Cleo Jr.

A private celebration of life ceremony will be held at R-Haus. In lieu of flowes, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital in memory of mother and baby brother.
