The suspect of window-smashing burglary at Ashland's Albertsons store last week is still roaming free with the loot, police said.

Surveillance footage shows the man walk up to the store's front doors, look around, quickly leave, then immediately return and follow up by smashing through a window beside the door and walking into the store, a press release from the Ashland Police Department said.

Police responded to a vandalism report at Albertsons at 2:48 a.m. Friday, and realized the store had been robbed of a large amount of money. (Correction: The date has been corrected in this story.)

The suspect is described as a male, 5 feet 5 inches or taller and 130 pounds, police said. He wore a hooded sweatshirt, mask, plaid shorts, and black and white skate shoes, police said.

The Ashland Police Department is asking for assistance in identifying this suspect. Investigators ask anyone with information to call 541-482-5211.
