For its one-year anniversary, Cafe 116 will showcase the talents of local guitarist David Kelley from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 27-29, at the cafe, 116 Lithia Way, Ashland.

In addition to playing solo, Kelley is one of the founding members of the Ashland Guitar Quartet, featuring his former teacher David Rogers and his fellow students Stephan Kane and Matthew Gwinup.

Kelley graduated in 2010 from Southern Oregon University with a bachelor's degree in classical guitar performance. He plays a variety of stringed instruments as well as melodica, flute and percussion.
