The graveside service for Loretta Longiotti will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 20, 2012 at the Eagle Point National Cemetery, Eagle Point, Ore. The memorial service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, August 24, 2012, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1974 East McAndrews, Medford, Ore., 97504

Mrs. Longiotti, 89, of Ashland, Ore., passed away Monday, July 16th at an Ashland Adult Foster Care Home.

She was born March 5, 1923 in Farrell, PA the daughter of Marietta and Antonio Sanitate. She was raised in Farrell where she graduated from Farrell High School. On October 2, 1945 in Farrell, Pa., she married Cordino Longiotti who

survives.

After living in Farrell for several years following World War II, Mr. and Mrs. Longiotti moved to San Jose, Calif. Loretta worked as a department manager for Macy's Department Store for several years before working as an office manager with her husband's business, Corlon Home Improvement.

In 1974 they moved to Ashland, Ore., and operated the Talent Hardware Store and Mrs. Longiotti worked in the office.

Loretta enjoyed cooking, camping, playing cards and spending time with family. She traveled extensively including in Germany, Italy and India. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene, Medford, Ore.

Surviving in addition to her husband is a son, William (Joy) Longiotti of Talent, Ore.; a daughter, Karen (Mike) Titus of Ashland, Ore.; two sisters, Mary Gerba of Brookfield, Ohio and Vee McKowen of Maryland; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 5 brothers.
