Warren Williams stars as sleuth Philo Vance in the 1934 mystery “The Dragon Murder Case” at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, July 21, as part of the Christian Church of Ashland’s Old-Time Movie Night Series. At 8:10 p.m., Cary Grant plays a sophisticated playboy and art teacher ordered by a judge to date one of his students, played by Shirley Temple, in the 1947 screwball romp “The Bachelor and the Bobby-Soxer.” The church is at 318 B St. Nostalgic, drive-in snack-bar reels and vintage coming-attraction previews will be shown between films. A snack bar will be open most of the evening. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.
