Robert Graham, of Ashland, Ore., passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, July 3, 2012. Born August 23, 1922, to James M. and Helen E. Graham, he leaves behind his daughter and son-in-law, Debra and Dan Coyne, of Marysville, Wash.; daughter, Dennise Graham, of Alameda, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, Duncan and Valerie Graham, of San Lorenzo, Calif.; grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Coyne, and Chris and Alyssa Graham; special friend and companion, Dorothy Considine, of Ashland, Ore.; and of course his K-9 compatriot, Toller, who will take up residency with family in Marysville, Wash.

According to his children, "Dad was very active up until the last few weeks of his nearly 90 years of life. As was his norm he was jovial and cracking jokes the night before he died. We had the opportunity to say our goodbyes over the past few weeks and had no unfinished business. During our last conversation with Dad he said he lived his life with no regrets, yet was just very, very tired and he was very much at peace when he passed."

The memorial service will be Friday, July 20, 2012, 1:00 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church, 1615 Clark Avenue, Ashland, Ore.

Bob specifically requested that no flowers be sent, and if people wish to make a meaningful gesture of goodwill on his behalf to please send a contribution to Ashland Community Hospital Hospice Care, 1970 Ashland Street, Ashland, OR 97520.
