Camelot Theatre Company finds fun in U.S. politics. It’s the long, hot summer of 1776, and things don’t look good. John Adams can’t get the Continental Congress to approve a declaration of independence from England, George Washington is sending depressing messages about the military situation, and old Ben Franklin is generally being a pain in everybody’s butt. The musical comedy shows at 8 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, July 12-14, with a matinee at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 15, at Camelot Theatre, 101 Talent Ave., Talent. An additional performance will be at 8 p.m. Monday, July 16. Tickets cost $25, $23 for students and seniors.
