Barbara Stanwyck stars as a nurse unable to ignore strange events at her station in the 1931 film “Night Nurse,” showing at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, as part of the Christian Church of Ashland’s Old-Time Movie Night Series. At 8:10 p.m., Errol Flynn sets out to rescue a Spanish queen from an evil duke in the 1948 “Adventures of Don Juan,” climaxing in one of cinema’s greatest fencing duels. The church is at 318 B St., Ashland. Nostalgic, drive-in snack-bar reels and vintage coming-attraction previews will be shown between films. A snack bar will be open most of the evening. Doors open at 6 p.m. Admission is free, but donations will be accepted.
