Celebrate the Year of the Dragon with Chinese treats and a free lecture titled “Men of Iron and Steel: Chinese Railroad Workers in the Siskiyou Mountains” presented by Victoria Law at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at the Ashland Historic Railroad Museum, 258 A St., Suite 7 (above The Playwright Public House). The talk is a tribute to the Chinese workers who built the railroad through the Siskiyou Mountains.
