Folk, jazz, classical and boogie woogie piano stylings, along with traditional holiday music, will be on the slate during Portland artist John Nilsen’s annual Christmas show in Ashland. Nilsen has sold more than a million records during his 28-year career as a musician. His most recent album is “Places I Go,” released in 2010 on his independent label “Magic Wing.” His 18th album is in the works and will be released in the spring. The concert is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at the First United Methodist Church, 175 N. Main St. Admission is $15.
