Members of local bluegrass band, Siskiyou Summit gather to jam with other bluegrass musicians at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, at Caldera Tap House, 31 Water St. The six-piece ensemble is made up of professional musicians; Jeff Jones on mandolin, Crystal Reeves on fiddle, Bob Evoniuk on Dobro, Glenn Freese on guitar, Sam Cuenca on bass and Rick Nelson on banjo. Siskiyou Summit is known throughout the Northwest for it’s hot picking and bluegrass chops. Members credit their success to open jams like the one they host monthly at Caldera, where other musicians can come to learn songs and techniques all while having a boot-stomping good time. No cost to attend.
