Helen Weddle Hopkins passed away on November 22, 2011, in Ashland, Ore. She was born in Miamisburg, Ohio, on January 4, 1917, but lived the majority of her life in Cincinnati and Reno and the last year in Ashland.
She was a gifted musician and teacher, a good friend, and a long term member of P.E.O. Her favorite role was wife, mother and grandmother. She married Robert C. Hopkins in Cincinnati, Ohio, on July 7, 1946. He died in 1997.
Helen is survived by her children, Sara (Russ Otte) Hopkins Powell, of Ashland, Ore., Kathy (Roy Mash) Hopkins, of San Rafael, Calif.; grandson, Adam; and two half sisters, Ruth and Rose Mary. She was preceded in death by her son, Stephen Hopkins.
