At just 15, Young, a sophomore at Ashland High School, already is an established instrumentalist in the local music scene. He plays with father David Young's band, Jerry Attrick and The Pacemakers, The Young Family Trio with his father and sister, Abby, The Bar Misfits Klezmer Band and numerous, other local projects.

After mastering the saxophone, Young began studying oboe at age 9 and clarinet in 2009. He capably transferred his natural affinity from one woodwind instrument to the next.

Cover to his show at Avalon is $5. See www.youngfamilymusic.com.
