Grammy winner — and 12-time Native American Music award-winning artist — Joanne Shenandoah will perform at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30, at the Unitarian Fellowship, 87 Fourth St., Ashland. Shenandoah channels her love of pop, folk and classical into her ancestrally inspired music. Tickets are $22 in advance or $25 at the door. Admission for teens is $10, and children younger than 12 get in free. A portion of proceeds benefits Red Earth Descendants, a local indigenous-based organization committed to creating healthy, sustainable community while preserving native values, traditions and culture.
