A freeze watch is predicted for the Rogue Valley Friday, with morning low temperatures dropping to between 28 and 35 degrees, National Weather Service officials said.

But temperatures are also expected to warm up as the day progresses, capping with a high of 67 degrees before rain returns over the weekend.

The NWS has issued a hazardous weather warning because of the potential temperature drop. Vegetation left uncovered could be killed from the freeze.
