April 12, 1941 to April 10, 2011

Happiness comes of the capacity to feel deeply,

to enjoy simply, to think freely, to risk life, to be needed.

Judi, or "Mom", as she was affectionately known to many, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011.

She was born in Aliquippa, Penn., and spent a large part of her life in Calif., where she graduated from Paso Robles High School in 1959. She spent the past 20 years here, in Eagle Point, on the ranch to which she felt "called to", and loved enjoying the abundant wildlife and wonderful wilderness.

Her many talents and skills brought a full life as a mother, singer, cowgirl, tour guide, exercise instructor, sales manager, consultant, TV host, minister, entreprenuer, writer, sculptor, painter, gardener, rancher, and loving wife.

Our grief will eventually be replaced with loving thoughts and fond memories, and we will be much stronger for having been touched by Judi.

She leaves behind her loving husband and friend, William Story; three children, Jodi Lamensdorf, Michael McMillan and Cindy McMillan; four grandchildren, Christopher McMillan, Mackenzie Drewe, Austin Brown and Cameron Brown; her sister and brother, Norma Gibbs and Dennis Rhoades.

Services will be held at the Pioneer Hall, So. Fork Little Butte Creek Rd.(Lake Creek), Eagle Point, at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2011.

If preferred, in lieu of flowers you may send donations to Asante Foundation (Hospice): 2600 Siskiyou Blvd. Suite 100, Medford, OR, 97504.
