Margaret Ward Meyer died April 11, 2011, at the age of 96. She was born in Berkeley, Calif., on November 16, 1914, to Archie and Mabel Ward.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Albert C. Meyer, in 1996; her son, Daniel Meyer, in 1982; and brothers, William and Richard. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Meyer McDonald, and son-in-law, Willliam. She leaves her cherished grandsons, Christopher (Aarti), Mark (Jennie), Thomas (Jen), Matthew (Virginie), Rocky (Carol), Patrick; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Margaret was raised in San Leandro, Ca. where she graduated from San Leandro High School and Willlis Business College. She and her husband, Albert, raised their family in Burlingame, Calif., and later retired to Ashland, Ore. Her focus in life was always her family and home. Her interests included travel, knitting, spinning, weaving, and PEO. In 2001, Margaret moved to the Villa Gardens, in Pasadena, Calif.

Mema will be remembered for her wonderful disposition, her non-judgmental nature, and always valuing the goodness in others.
