People's Bank and Rogue Shred LLC is offering a "Shred Day" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, May 9, at the bank's Central Point branch, 1017 E. Pine St.

People and businesses can get up to three boxes of material shredded for free.

This is the second year the bank has sponsored the shred day as a way to reduce paper clutter and promote environmentally sound practices, such as paying bills and banking online.
