James A. Bruehling, 66, of Prospect, Ore., passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. He was born on June 22, 1944, in St. Paul, Minn., to Richard F. and Solveig J. (Mortenson) Bruehling. He married Sharon "Judie" (Morse), 48 years ago and they moved to Oregon in 1972.

He retired from Boise Cascade Wood Products, White City, Ore., in 2006, with 33 years od service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Judie; son, Rusty, of Prospect, Ore.; daughter, Sylvia Combs (Robert Mack), of White City, Ore.; grandchildren, Kevin (Kayla Gorum) Bruehling, Danny Boyd, Hannah Harrington, and Mariha Mack; three great-grandchildren, Kyler, Keyaira, and Kora Bruehling; sister, Joan Market, of Cottage Grove, Minn.; brother, Richard H. (Judy) Bruehling, of Maplewood, Minn.; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial is being planned for June. Arrangements are by Rogue Valley Funeral Alternatives.
