With friends at his side, Jon Reichenberg, 51, passed away in his sleep on March 15, 2011. Although it was a shortened journey, Jon lived a full life with his friends from Pathway.

He took vacations to the beach, where he enjoyed relaxing hot tubs and watching the ocean from the deck of the beach house, rooting for his favorite NASCAR, NFL, and professional wrestling teams and purchasing anything with the Harley Davidson logo. His greatest loves were buying new shoes, new clothing, and going out to eat. He enjoyed bowling and spending time with his roommates.

Jon had an incredible sense of humor, keeping everyone around him on their toes. In 2010, Jon traveled to Portland to receive the "Works of Heart" award with his nurse and friend, Mary Cadman. Many members of his Pathway family watched as he proudly walked to the stage and posed for pictures.

Jon was loved greatly and will be missed by all who were fortunate to be part of his life. Jon will be laid to rest at Deschutes Memorial Gardens in Bend, Ore. A memorial will be arranged through Pathway.

Jon's siblings would like to thank Pathway Enterprises for the care they provided Jon throughout his 23 years with them, much of which was above and beyond the call of duty. Thanks also to Mary Cadman, Jon's nurse of four years, Providence Hospice and his many caregivers. Special thanks to Sandy Clark, his house manager and extended family member, who was with Jon his entire time in Medford, words aren't enough, we thank and love you. - Gwen English.
