CORVALLIS — Oregon State junior right-handed pitcher Sam Gaviglio and sophomore catcher Andrew Susac are ranked in the top 100 of Baseball America's collegiate draft prospects for the 2011 season.

Gaviglio, who starred at Ashland High, is No. 60 among all college players. Susac is 23rd overall and No. 2 for catchers.

Gaviglio has spurned the pro ranks once after being selected in the 40th round in 2008 by Tampa Bay. For Oregon State and Gaviglio, that was a wise choice as the right-hander went 10-1 with a 2.73 ERA and was named a consensus freshman All-American.

In two years, he is 13-5 with a 4.16 ERA and three saves.
