Thursday 3:15 a.m. — Police arrested a 46-year-old man and a 23-year-old man after they were found to have Ashland warrants in the 100 block of East Main Street. The 46-year-old man was arrested for failure to appear on a trespassing charge, and was additionally cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. The 23-year-old man was arrested for failure to appear on charges of providing false information to a police officer and trespassing. The two men were lodged in the Jackson County Jail.

Thursday 12:47 p.m. — A woman reported her juvenile son as a runaway in the Ashland area.

Thursday 3:20 p.m. — Police arrested a 38-year-old man on an Ashland warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of trespassing in the first block of North Main Street.

Thursday 4:38 p.m. — Police arrested a male juvenile on two counts of menacing, two counts of harassment, two counts of strangulation and four counts of assault in the 100 block of Walker Avenue.

Thursday 5:03 p.m. — Police cited a 32-year-old man for having an open container of alcohol in public in the first block of South Pioneer Street.

Thursday 11:57 p.m. — Police arrested a 25-year-old man for driving under the influence of intoxicants near the intersection of East Main and Gresham streets. He was cited and released to a sober adult.

Friday 2:27 a.m. — Police took an intoxicated man into protective custody in the 400 block of B Street after he unlawfully entered a house. The owners declined to press charges, and the man was transported to detox.
