Southern Oregon improved to 4-1 overall and will face Bethany today at 5:30 p.m. in Klamath Falls.

Freshman Kyle Tedder made four 3-pointers and turned in a game-high 21 points to lead the Raiders. Kellen Hawley had six points and seven rebounds, while Drew Herrera finished with five steals and five assists.

Aren Rennacker led Pacific Union with 19 points. Leading 9-6 early in the first half, the Raiders caught fire and quickly turned the game into a rout.

Tedder, Sam Osofsky, Trevor McCay, Joe White and Dex Daum all had 3-pointers during a 36-13 run that gave the Raiders a 45-19 lead with just over a minute to play in the first half.

The Raiders finished the half shooting 49 percent from the field and 46 percent from 3-point land.

Southern Oregon cooled off to 40 percent shooting in the second half but was still able to cruise to victory.

Youth Soccer

Ashland's U-11 boys soccer team will play Cascade FC Chelsea in the semifinals of the President's Cup, 1 p.m. today at U.S. Cellular Community Park in Medford.

The Ashland Spartans have won two games in a row since falling to Eugene, 3-2, including a 14-0 win over Grants Pass and a 3-1 victory over Columbia River.

The winner of the Ashland-Cascade match will advance to the championship round.

Ashland is coached by Justin Rinefort and Brad Boucher.

Women's Basketball

At Newberg, Hannah Munger scored a game-high 23 points on 8 of 17 shooting to lead George Fox to a 73-68 victory over Southern Oregon on Friday.

Whitney Scott led the Raiders with 16 points and Alexi Smith had 10 points and six rebounds.

Pop Warner Football

Ashland's Junior Pee Wee team will face Junction City this weekend for the Oregon JPW state championship, at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.

The Bears defeated the Crater Black Comets 14-6 last week to advance to the championship game.
