Friday 10:33 a.m. — Police received a report of a bike stolen from the skate park at the 200 block of Water Street.

Friday 12:46 a.m. — A man was taken into protective custody near the intersection of Granite and North Main streets and transported to a detox facility.

Friday 2:27 p.m. — A woman was arrested near the intersection of Siskiyou Boulevard and Mountain Avenue on a warrant from the Medford Municipal Court for failure to comply on a theft charge. She was lodged at the Jackson County Jail.

Friday 1:09 p.m. — Police investigated a report of sex abuse in the Ashland area.

Friday 4:49 p.m. — Police responded to an apartment on the first block of Morton Street to investigate an unattended death.

Friday 7:13 p.m. — An unknown person stole an iPod from a student's backpack at Ashland High School on the 200 block of South Mountain Avenue.

Friday 10:08 p.m. — Police responded to a report of a sex crime on the 1200 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.

Saturday 12:59 a.m. — A man was found violating his parole by drinking alcohol in his parked car near the intersection of North First Street and Lithia Way. He was also cited for having an open container in public and lodged at the Jackson County Jail.

Saturday 1:48 a.m. — Ashland Police assisted Medford Police by conducting a drug evaluation on a person arrested for driving while under the influence of intoxicants at the 700 block of West Eighth Street.

Saturday 9:10 a.m. — Police received a report of a wallet stolen from a vehicle at the 800 block of C Street.

Saturday 10:03 a.m. — A man was cited for building an illegal fire in Lithia Park near the intersection of Winburn Way and Granite Street.

Saturday 11:52 a.m. — A suicidal woman was taken into protective custody and transported to Rogue Valley Medical Center from the 1300 block of Quincy Street.

Saturday 12:01 p.m. — A vehicle backed into a pedestrian in the parking lot of the Recycle Center at the 200 block of Water Street. The pedestrian received minor injuries.

Sunday 3:39 p.m. — Police responded to a two-car motor vehicle crash with no injuries at the intersection of Highway 66 and East Main Street.

Sunday 7:10 p.m. — A man was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana at the first block of Water Street.

Sunday 9:45 p.m. — Two adults were cited for criminal trespassing on railroad property near Water Street.

Monday 5:49 a.m. — Two male adults were cited for criminal trespass at the first block of Winburn Way. One of the men was also cited for providing false information to a police officer.
