When a function such as the AHS water polo yard sale is such a phenomenal success, the credit usually starts with one person. Geann Kollar’s six months of outreach, organization and hard labor resulted in an outstandingly successful fundraiser that benefited both high school water polo and our community.

This sale provided a great venue for recycling used goods at very reasonable prices. In addition, Geann initiated helpful donations to the Oak Knoll fire victims and other needy members of our community.

Thanks to her selfless work and the unflinching assistance of her lead haulers, the Compeau and Good families, polo is in great shape for the year. When a person so selflessly gives to help so many in her community, we should notice and unify in a chorus of “Thank you’s.”
