With one powerful swing, Ashland's Ethan Schlecht changed the game.

Schlecht hit a grand slam in the bottom of the fourth inning of the Pilots' opener against North Jackson on Friday at North Mountain Park, triggering an avalanche of runs and lifting Ashland to a 16-6 victory.

The Pilots won the Area 4 nightcap, 8-3.
