Wednesday 9:01 a.m. — A person reported a credit fraud scam in the first block of East Main Street. The case is currently under investigation.

Wednesday 10:16 a.m. — A man reported someone etched the letters "HIV" into his car windshield while it was parked in the first block of Winburn Way.

Wednesday 10:42 a.m. — An unknown person etched the words "Meth" and "AIDS" on a woman's car while it was parked in the 100 block of Lincoln Street.

Wednesday 2:16 p.m. — Southern Oregon University campus Public Safety reported vandalism to a vehicle while it was parked in the area of Indiana and Madrone streets. The case is related to other vandalism reports regarding vehicle windows scratched with an unknown tool, and the incident occurred at some point between Tuesday, May 18 at 9 p.m. and Wednesday, May 19 at 8 a.m.

Wednesday 2:35 p.m. — An unknown person etched the word "pig" on a vehicle parked on Winburn Way near North Main Street.

Wednesday 2:35 p.m. — At some point between Monday, May 24 at 5 p.m. and Wednesday, May 26 at 10:30 a.m., an unknown person etched the word "HIV" onto a vehicle while it was parked on Pioneer Street near Hargadine.

Wednesday 3:32 p.m. — Police arrested a 26-year-old man for theft after he was caught shoplifting from Market of Choice in the 1400 block of Siskiyou Boulevard.

Wednesday 3:35 p.m. — Police investigated a sexual assault that occurred in the Ashland area.

Wednesday 4:55 p.m. — Police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on North Pioneer Street near Lithia Way. There was minor damage to one vehicle and no injuries.

Wednesday 5:19 p.m. — Police received a report of possible child abuse in the Ashland area.

Wednesday 8:11 p.m. — An unknown person unlawfully entered a vehicle and stole property in the 300 block of North Laurel Street.

Thursday 1:12 a.m. — Police arrested a 23-year-old man for violating his probation in the 100 block of East Main Street. He was lodged at Jackson County Jail.

Thursday 2:29 a.m. — Police arrested a 22-year-old woman for driving under the influence of intoxicants in the area of Lithia Way and Oak Street. She was cited and released to a sober adult.
